New Orleans Cuisine

Head-on BBQ shrimp, smokey jamblaya, and rich dark gumbo are just some of the Louisiana classics you will find on the Acadia menu.  We strive to provide the most authentic New Orleans dining experience on the west coast.

How do we do it?

Chef Adam searches the South for indigenous ingredients that cannot be replaced, and has them shipped up via air cargo twice weekly to ensure freshness.   Items like:  Gulf shrimp. blue crab, gulf oysters, black drum, sheepshead, and Louisiana crawfish all make an apperance. As does cajun popcorn rice from Gueydan, Louisiana and andoullie sausage from Comeaux’s in Breaux Bridge.  All of these ingredients come together in Portland to bring you the most authentic New Orleans dining outside of the Vieux Carre!
